Stefan Boenders appointed new CFO of Schweiter Technologies

Steinhausen, 13 October 2026 –  The Board of Directors of Schweiter Technologies AG has appointed Stefan Boenders as the new CFO of Schweiter Technologies Group and as a member of the management. Stefan, a Swiss and Belgian citizen, served most recently as CFO and member of the management of the Ricola Group. On 1 November 2026, he will join Schweiter Technologies and succeed Urs Scheidegger, who is set to leave the Group at the end of December 2026, as previously announced.

Stefan Boenders will assume his new post on 1 November 2026 and take over the responsibilities and function of his predecessor following an intensive induction phase. He holds a Licentiate in Economics (lic. oec. HSG) with the major of Business Administration with specialization in Finance and Accounting from the University of St. Gallen and completed executive education at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland. Most recently, Stefan served as CFO and member of the management of the Ricola Group. Prior to that he was Vice President Group Controlling of the DKSH Group.

He brings more than 25 years of international finance leadership experience in publicly listed multinational and family-owned companies, with a proven track record in corporate performance management, business transformation and digitalization. Having worked across Switzerland, Europe, the US and Asia, he has broad experience in managing complex international organizations and developing high-performing Finance and IT functions. 

The Board of Directors and the Group CEO, Roman Sonderegger, are convinced that his extensive international experience and broad financial and business transformation expertise will make a valuable contribution to advancing Schweiter Technologies’ transformation and further strengthening the Group’s performance.
